The Green Loans Program is about helping you to make the right choices for your home dependent upon your needs and your budget.

The Green Loans Program consists of three simple steps:

1. Arrange for your FREE Home Sustainability Assessment to be conducted by a certified Assessor. Find out if you are eligible.

2. Receive your Assessment Report tailored to your household. This report will detail water and energy saving changes that you can make
PLUS gives you practical information to help you get started.

3. Apply for a Green Loan of up to $10,000 from an Approved Financial Institution to fund the actions listed on the Assessment Report.

The Home Energy Assessment will involve the physical inspection of major energy and water systems relating to thermal comfort,
water heating, lighting, refrigeration, cooking, entertainment, water consumption, and waste management.

The length of the Assessment will be impacted by the amount of information available, the size of the property and the number of
energy and water systems to be considered. Generally an Assessment is estimated to take no longer than 90 minutes.

A few weeks after your assessment, you will receive a tailored Home Sustainability Assessment Report detailing the following:

• The Assessment findings

• The recommended actions

• Details of where to get further services or information

• Information relating to applications for Green Loans of up to $10,000
